Commercial Property Photography and Film That Sells Space

The images and film used to market a commercial property are doing active commercial work. They're the first thing an occupier sees in a digital brochure. They're what an agent puts in front of a client before a viewing is even arranged. They determine whether a building feels worth visiting — or whether it gets scrolled past.

Generic photography from a generalist shoots a space. Strategic commercial property photography sells it.

At Pave, our photography and videography is produced specifically for the commercial real estate sector. We shoot offices, business parks, flex workspaces, ground-floor retail, mixed-use developments, and construction progress — and we approach every brief with a clear understanding of who the images are for and what they need to communicate.

What We Produce

Interior Architecture and Space Photography
The most important photography for any commercial scheme is a well-lit, well-composed representation of the space itself. We capture floor plates, meeting rooms, amenity spaces, communal areas, and reception environments with the care and technical precision that built environment photography demands.

We work with natural light where the space allows it and supplement with professional lighting where it doesn't. Every image is post-processed to accurate colour and tone — not artificially brightened or manipulated to misrepresent proportions.

Exterior and Architectural Photography
First impressions begin with the building's exterior. We photograph facades, entrances, streetscapes, and setting — in the right light, at the right time of day, from the angles that communicate the asset's quality and context. We plan every exterior shoot around natural light conditions and weather, not around whoever happens to be free that Tuesday.

Lifestyle and Occupier Photography
Occupiers don't just want to see a space — they want to see themselves in it. Lifestyle photography showing people working, collaborating, and engaging with a building humanises the asset and helps prospects imagine using it. We plan and direct lifestyle shoots with models or real occupier teams, ensuring the images feel authentic rather than staged.

Film and Walkthrough Video
A well-produced property film communicates things that photography can't: the scale of a floor plate, the quality of a reception sequence, the feel of moving through a building. We produce short-form property films for use on scheme websites, social media, and agent presentations — cut for digital-first consumption, not broadcast.

We also produce longer walkthrough videos for buildings mid-fit-out or at practical completion, giving remote occupiers a genuine sense of the space before committing to a viewing.

Drone and Aerial Photography
Aerial imagery is particularly valuable for business parks, out-of-town developments, and schemes where location and connectivity are key selling points. We work with licensed drone operators to provide aerial stills and video that place the asset in its geographic context.

Construction Progress Photography
Documenting a scheme through construction — from groundworks to PC — gives you a valuable archive for investor reporting, future marketing, and public relations. We offer scheduled construction progress photography at agreed intervals throughout the build programme.

How We Approach a Commercial Property Brief

Good commercial property photography begins before the camera comes out. We spend time understanding the asset, the occupier target, and how the images will be used — whether that's a CGI compositing project at pre-let stage, a launch campaign for a newly completed building, or a repositioning exercise for an existing asset.

We advise on the right shoot schedule, the optimum time of day for natural light in each space, the styling and dressing requirements, and the shot list that will give you maximum coverage and flexibility across all applications.

Every shoot produces a full suite of high-resolution images delivered in the formats required for print, digital, and social media. We don't deliver thousands of raw frames and ask you to edit. You receive a curated, edited, professionally retouched set of images ready to go to your agents and into your marketing materials.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work across the UK or only in London?
We're based between London and Essex but shoot across the UK. Travel is factored into project costs transparently at the brief stage.

How long does a photography shoot take?
For a single commercial floor plate or workspace environment, a full-day shoot typically produces sufficient coverage. Larger schemes — particularly those with multiple floors, exterior settings, and lifestyle elements — require a full day or a multi-day schedule. We'll specify this clearly in every proposal.

Can you shoot a building that's still under construction or in fit-out?
Yes. Wecan work on buildings mid-construction, during fit-out, and at practical completion. For pre-let marketing at an early stage, we can work alongside CGI to produce composite images that show the space dressed and occupied.

How are final images delivered?
We deliver a curated, retouched image set via a private online gallery. Images are provided in high-resolution TIFF or JPEG format for print use, and web-optimised JPEG or WebP files for digital applications. Licensing covers commercial property marketing use across all standard channels.

Can you also handle the videography for the same scheme?
Yes — and this is the most cost-efficient approach. Combining photography and film production on the same shoot day reduces both cost and disruption to the building. Most of our property briefs include both.
